I'm a Christian, married to my wonderful husband, Adrian, since 1978 (where has the time gone?). We have two children, Michael and Elizabeth who are just the best children we could have wished for, we're so blessed, and proud of them. Michael and Aisling, our daughter in law, have a daughter Bronwyne Ann. Elizabeth is married to Martyn. I use my crafting to raise funds for various charities. The charity that I'm currently sponsoring is Save The Children
As always the challenge over at Word Art Wednesday is anything goes with the option of using the scriptural word art provided. I recently had a friend who had a family bereavement and I made this card for her and her family
The floral cross stamp is by Personal Impressions and I stamped it using Memento ink. I coloured it using my ProMarkers. I used one of the Spellbinders Decorative Label #8 dies to cut out the panel and attached it to the card with 3D foam pads. I don't know the manufacturer of the sentiment stamp as there is no information on the wooden block. I stamped it on to a label I had cut using an X-Cut die, the ribbon and paper were from my stash
Hello everyone. After another lengthy gap I am back. Unfortunately my dear FiL, who had been ill from the week before Christmas, passed away a month ago. We've been so busy with everything and starting to clear his house I haven't really had the time or the inclination to be making any cards. Today I decided to have a go at a couple of challenges and have made some cards.
I've made this card for a friend who always asks me to make Christmas cards for various family members. The design of the card is from a copy of Card making and Papercraft. The tree is made up of scraps of papers rolled up. I attached the buttons using Glossy Accents and also used it on the background for a snowflake effect.I put the star brad on top of the tree before I matted the white card to the brown. Using a fine liner I sketchily went around the card to create a frame and added gemstones. Finally I used the computer to generate the sentiment panels which I adhered to brown card before adding to the card with 3D foam pads
