Tiger, tiger.......

The inspiration for this card came from a photo at Outlawz Tuesday Colour challenge  It's a photo of a tiger's head and a fabulous background of yellows, reds and oranges.  The twist for the challenge is to make your own twist and say what it is.  MY twist is that I've made a Christmas card without using any Christmas papers.  I think it worked very well and might do some more in other colours

I'm also entering it into the following challenges

Addicted to Stamps #112  making your mark, what you have used to colour your image.  I've used Memento ink pads

Sister Act #74  anything goes

Divas by Design  anything goes

Word Art Wednesday #149  anything goes

Whimsy Stamps #75  monochromatic

The stamp I have used for this card is from Stamp-It.  To colour it I swiped three different dew drop Memento ink pads across it diagonally to mimic the tiger stripes and then edged the card with the yellow pad before mounting it on brown cardstock.  The brown and yellow papers are from a 12x12 stack which I think could be a Papermania one.  Only think as I haven't kept the front cover and I've had them for ages.  It's a pity that there isn't much of the yellow showing as it's a very pretty paper.  maybe I'll take a photo of it tomorrow and add it to the bottom of this post.  The ribbon was a perfect match from my stash which I had received in a ribbon swap some time ago.  The stamped panel was attached with 3D foam pads
