I am entering this card into the Allsorts #236  Anything but Christmas challenge

I saw this alphabet stamp set at the Sincerely Yours craft show in Leigh and just had to have it.  It's from Little Claire and I used Promarkers to colour the elements on the letters.  The backing paper is from Papermania, the die cut decoupage is from Freddy's Friend and finished off with Card Candi

Christmas Baubles

Paper Pretties  Christmas card

Papertake Weekly  Anything goes

I was really pleased how this card turned out.  I stamped the images onto pearlised vellum and then mounted them onto white card. The backing paper is from a Papermania stack.  The bauble stamps are by Spellbinders and were a free gift with a magazine. I used Versamark ink and silver glitter, Anita's adhesive pearls, blue metallic card and ribbon from my stash

One of my new stamps for 2013 by Woodware.  I really love the way this image lends itself to paper piecing.  The papers I used for both cards are from Molly Blooms Christmas Carnival 2012.  I have also used Memento inks and Promarkers.  The Sentiment is a Dovecraft stamp

A Christmas Carol

At long last I've motivated myself to make some cards. The first ones I'm posting are being entered into the challenges at

Word Art Wednesday #109  As always an anything goes challenge with the option of using the free scripture that is provided

Allsorts #235 to be inspired by a Christmas song or carol

Paper Pretties Wednesday challenge #287  Christmas

I love this stamp by Woodware, in fact it was a card I saw at a show using the stamp that inspired me to buy it.  I cased the design for the red card and I added Glamour Dust to the rooftops to give a bit of sparkle.  for the blue card I used a waterbrush over the image to give a water colour effect, quite liked this effect so might do some more in different colours. For the green card I coloured it with ProMarkers and used gilding flakes in variegated copper on the roof tops. I mounted it centrally onto a lovely pearlised card which was embossed, pity it doesn't show up on this picture.  I used Memento ink pads to stamp all the images and the papers, ribbon and foam pads from my stash
