Creative Card Crew #37

This will be my last DT card for the Creative Card Crew for a while as I am taking a couple of months off.  I will be popping into blogland occasionally so I might do the odd post now and again.  Life seems to be catching up with me, distracting from my enjoyment for crafting.  I'm also going into hospital in a couple of weeks,14th June, for an op to remove my gallbladder. Not looking forward to it one bit but it will be worth it to get rid of the pain. Don't miss me too much lol

We're asking you to use punches and/or dies for your entries into our
37th challenge at the Creative Card Crew

We are being sponsored by Delicious Doodles who are donating
4 digi stamps for the winner of our random draw
Sponsoring 28 May

I have used the pretty digi stamp Sniffing the Daisies for my card

I rediscovered my daisy punch when one of our challenges was for handmade flowers, I'd forgotten how nice it is.  So when I was making this card I thought that I would create daises to match how I've coloured them on the image with ProMarkers.  I used 100gsm white paper for the daisies and coloured the tips of the petals with a Memento ink pad.  The daisy centres are Card Candi from Craftwork Cards, along with the dotty paper.  I bought a few different sets of the Card Candi but soon came to realise that there were colours that I wasn't using.  But now the problem is solved!  I still have the not so popular colours left but I have bought a bag of white and use my ProMarkers to colour them exactly as I want them.  The white backing card was embossed using a mask from Imagination Crafts and a small peel off greeting was added to finish the card

Creative Card Crew #36

Although this is a white on white challenge at the Creative Card Crew it is ok to use colour on your image.

We are being sponsored by Marianne Designs

This is the card I made for our daughter's birthday, her last one living with us as she is getting married in May
I used my Memory Box tessatina die to create the background and flourish die for the corners. I created the topper using Nestabilities and stamped the greeting from Papermania using Memento ink pad
