I'm a Christian, married to my wonderful husband, Adrian, since 1978 (where has the time gone?). We have two children, Michael and Elizabeth who are just the best children we could have wished for, we're so blessed, and proud of them. Michael and Aisling, our daughter in law, have a daughter Bronwyne Ann. Elizabeth is married to Martyn. I use my crafting to raise funds for various charities. The charity that I'm currently sponsoring is Save The Children
Last week I was sorting through some files and I came across some photographs of Mum & Dad's wedding and I thought that they would make a lovely scrapbook page
I've had the paper in my stash forever and I can't remember whose design it is. No multiple papers or fancy mounting from me, I'm a 'keep it neat and tidy' kinda girl lol Flowers are from Prima with the centres being Card Candi. Horseshoes are cake decorations and the lace, ribbon and braid are from my stash. Pearl sprays are again from stash with the tiny flat backed pearls being from Anita's. The lettering was computer generated and printed on to Safmat from Letraset I then cut it out as close as possible to the words and numbers and burnished them down. I really love using Safmat as my writing is horrendous lol
Behind this photo is a tag for my journalling. Granddad was an Air Raid Warden during WW II in Liverpool. He saw some horrific sights in the aftermath of the bombings which affected him deeply, to the extent that he lost all his hair. He always wore a cap outdoors and because he wouldn't be able to wear his cap in church he bought a wig and continued to wear one until his death. We grew up seeing him both with and without the wig but we all have a lasting memory which we smile about to this day. In later years Granddad had diabetes and Nana would lift his wig and rub his head, to see if he was getting hot if she thought he was likely to have a hypo, and plonk it back down at any angle!! He did look funny to us as children
definitely in love!
We have no idea who the small bridesmaid is but the outer ones are two of my Dad's sisters and the other one is my Mum's sister
I don't know who everyone is on this photo but I have written on a tag, which is behind the photo, the names of the people that I do know.
