ABC Christmas D for.......

....... designer papers

I've finally got round to making a card for a challenge on the day the challenge was issued!!!

It is for the ABC Christmas challenge which is D for Designer papers

The papers I have used are from the Nitwits Merry & Bright collection and I inked the edges with a Memento ink pad.  I love their papers.  The reindeer digi stamp is from Pink Gems designs and I coloured it using my ProMarker pens. I highlighted the snow and snowflakes with Stickles glitter glue and finished it off with an iridescent peel-off greeting. I used my Crop-a-Dile Corner Chomper to the round the corners of the stamped panel

I'm entering it in the Allsorts Challenge #194 Things with wings -the little robin

Creative Card Crew Challenge #30

Over at the Creative Card Crew our challenge is Birthday.  An easy one this week, hope to see lots of yummy projects

We are sponsored by The Scrapping Centre

who are donating a store voucher for $15 for the lucky winner of our random draw

This is a card that I have made for a friend's birthday.  She doesn't have many 'real' birthdays as she was born on the 29th February, so she will be borrowing the 28th again this year
I have lots of aperture cards that I bought when I used to make cross-stitch cards and I must try and use them up. I made a panel using paper weaving, My Mind's Eye papers, and inserted it behind the aperture. I coloured silver border peeloffs and sentiment using a Promarker.  All the flowers are from the Papermania Colour Capsule Collection.

I am entering this card in the ABC Challenge - H for Happy Birthday

Creative Card Crew #29

Over at The Creative Card Crew our new challenge is to use chocolate, either the colour or candy.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Pizzazz Aplenty

who will be sending to our lucky random draw winner a surprise pack.  I love getting surprises and looking at the shop they have got lots of scrummy stash to add to your collections.

This challenge has enabled me to use a long neglected kit, Marshmallow and Chocolate, from Craftwork Cards.  The only thing that didn't come with the kit is the Chocbox ribbon which I saved from a box of chocolates.  I cut strips of the papers to attach to the card as the background after inking all the edges. I put the ribbon around the scalloped border before I attached it to the card.  The hardest part of making this card was deciding which of the sentiment blocks to use!

I used my Papermania Typography stamp, Happy Birthday, inked with Memento ink pad on a piece of the pink and white striped paper.  I then cut it out and attached to the inside using Letratac dry adhesive from Letraset
