A Gem of a Challenge

The Gem of a Challenge blog gives a colour combination of blue, turquoise and pink

 I like making these rosettes

3D butterfly using 3 peel-off butterflies

Coloured the flowers in the centre to co-ordinate
Used brads to affix the vellum

All the peel-offs were silver, coloured using Promarkers

Materials used

Circle aperture card
Papers and vellum were magazine freebies
1" circle punch
brads from stash

  1. This is so pretty. I struggle to make these rosettes, it's a two man job around here! I assume all this is happening in your new craft room, then?

  2. you're dead right there, Jane. I struggled with them at first, trying to copy the professionals on tv but I've got my own way of doing them now :o) I'll get Elizabeth to take some photos next time I make one :o)

  3. Soo pretty :) I made a couple of these flowers myself and they can be quit the PITA :) LOL
Thanks for joining a gem of a challenge ;)
