Blissful

Well my favourite stamp didn't want to behave today! It took about 4 attempts to get this little girl right. What with the ink not being dry (but isn't a slow drying one) so that I smudged it cutting out the oval, then the card was too absorbant and the colours bled including the stamped image and the last mistake was colouring outside the lines grrrrrrrr! But not being one to give up I persevered and here she is in all her finery.

I'm entering this card into a few challenges

Peartreedesigns #3 Sketch and flowers
Creativecardcrew #52 A Thank You card
Sundayswithcrissy #5 Relish to Embellish
Charismacards #23 Spots and stripes
Allsortschallenge #55 Strawberries/cream/chocolate

The flower/embellishment was created using three flowers layered together with a Card Candy centre
Thank You sentiment from Craftwork Cards

I used
Chocolate and Marshmallow card kit from CraftworkCards for the background papers, sentiment and Card Candy
Plain and scalloped oval Nestabilities
Blissful stamp from LittleClaire
Black Versafine ink pad
Promarkers, satin, dusky pink, rose pink, tan, caramel, canary yellow, pear green and cool grey 3

  6. Really nice! I hate it when stamping goes wrong, but this one is well worth the effort. I haven't been able to get to my desk all day, I am dying to make something, but the cross stitch is supposed to be taking priority at the moment.
