Some more plaques

I have made a few more plaques this week. As with the others I've put them on Ebay. My favourite is The Prayer of Jabez. I love the colours in it and it was worth cutting the vines by hand from a couple of 8"x8" papers.
I would love to read your comments on them and perhaps some suggestions for more plaques, not neccessarily Christian themed

A bit of advice please :o)

I have been thinking about trying to sell my makes elsewhere rather than on Ebay. I could put things on my sidebar but everyone who follows my blog is a crafter so I don't think I'd sell from here.
Does anyone have an Etsy shop? Would it be viable to set up on there?

How about a website? I would be looking to get a free one if possible where I can set up a shopping basket and Paypal. Has anyone used Mr Site for a web address?

Lots of questions which, I hope can be answered favourably :o)

going, going, gone!

Well I sold the three plaques that I showed you in my last post. I did hope that there would be a bit more interest in them though. By the time I took out my Ebay and Paypal fees I was left with 20p profit on each one :o(

Should I or shouldn't I make any more? My daughter said yes as it's using up some of my stash and keeping me occupied. Can't help but feeling a bit down about it all.

I looked at some of the Christmas stuff in John Lewis in Liverpool and they've got wooden tree ornaments for £3.50 and I know that they'll probably sell loads. I made some a couple of years ago and couldn't sell them for £1.00, I ended up giving them away.

I've been busy

I've managed to grab hold of my mojo and keep it for a couple of days lol I've made some more plaques and a card this week. I've yet to take a photo of the card but here are the plaques. I've put them on Ebay so I hope that they sell. I've used the Ippity stamps that I bought from Christy at Lone Pine for the bible verses, flower and the house. The harbour scene was a stamp from Stamps Away! which I coloured with watercolour paints.
